The elegant but versatile Palm Ballroom is the event annex at The Seafood Peddler Restaurant & Oyster Bar conveniently located in San Rafael, California. Event production services are available for everything from business functions to wedding receptions and ample parking is provided. Please review the following general information.

Room Rental

The room rental is $350 for the first four hours and $100.00 for each additional hour. These fees includes linen, 60" round table set up, a cordless microphone and labor for the set-up and clean-up, as well as décor during the holiday season. Any additional requirements for your event can be provided, but might incur additional charges. Please inquire with out banquest staff for more information.

Food and Beverage

All food must be provided by the restaurant, as the freshness and quality of our cuisine is of the utmost importance to guarantee your satisfaction. Web menu links are provided for your review and are subject to change. Custom menus are available for your event and our staff will be happy to accommodate most special requests.

There are different options available for bar service as we understand every client has different needs. Hosted and No-Host bars are available. If bar minimums are met, labor charges are waived. Guests are not permitted to bring liquor onto the premises, however wine may be brought for a corkage fee.
Sales tax and an 18% service charge will be added to all food and beverage totals.

Entertainment and Special Services

Live entertainment is allowed in the Palm Ballroom. All production equipment must be discussed with the Banquet Manager prior to your event. All decorations and special setup requirements are at the discretion of the venue and must be approved in advance.

Dance floors, audio-visual equipment, flowers, centerpieces, balloons, cakes, photographers, transportaion, valets, DJ's and VIP services can be provided, but might incur additional charges.

Reservations and Guarantees

Reservations for the Palm Ballroom are taken, but not guaranteed until a non-refundable $600.00 deposit is received. All guest counts and menu selections must be provided 10 days prior to your event. These quantities will be considered as final and you will be charged accordingly. The Palm Ballroom will be prepared to serve 5% over your guarantee.
